New bellydancing outfit! I made both the choli and the coinbelt.
The choli is stretchy knit cotton, with cotton bias tape for ties at the back. The pattern I made by tracing a halter-top, a t-shirt, and a sports bra, and then super-imposing them and making a composite. The sleeves were pure trial and error. Also, I just realized that the pictures don't show this very well, but the sleeves allow complete range of motion. (^_^) I wouldn't dance in anyhing that didn't. The coinbelt is made from cotton fabric, glass beads, silver-coloured brass coins that I got off of ebay, and some pieces of an old belt I got at a yard sale more than ten years ago. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
